Introduction
Civil projects combine design uncertainty, complex interfaces, temporary works, changing site conditions and high-risk construction activities. Effective management integrates project risk with safety so that threats are addressed during planning and design, not transferred to site teams without control.
This five-day course equips project managers, engineers and safety professionals to assess technical, schedule, cost and construction risks. Participants will apply qualitative and quantitative tools, use design-risk reduction and critical controls, and strengthen incident learning and emergency readiness. The capstone produces an integrated risk-and-safety management plan.
