Introduction
Building information modelling improves civil-project outcomes when information requirements, responsibilities and workflows are defined before modelling begins. A technically detailed model has limited value if data cannot be trusted, exchanged, coordinated or used by delivery and operations teams.
This five-day course equips civil engineers, BIM coordinators and project professionals to manage information across the project lifecycle. Participants will define requirements, establish common data environments, coordinate models, apply 4D and 5D uses, and assure information quality. Workshops culminate in a practical BIM execution plan and digital-handover strategy.
