Introduction
Fleet performance depends on the balance among availability, reliability, utilization, maintenance cost and operational demand. Excess preventive work wastes capacity, while reactive maintenance creates breakdowns, unsafe conditions, schedule disruption and premature asset loss.
This five-day course develops an asset-management approach for construction equipment. Participants build maintenance strategies, plan work, analyse failures, control spares and workshops, and use CMMS and telematics data. Lifecycle cost and replacement decisions connect maintenance performance with project and business objectives.
