Introduction
Building Information Modeling delivers value when information requirements, responsibilities, standards and review gates are defined before models are produced. Without governance, organizations may create visually impressive models that cannot support coordination, quantities, construction sequencing, field decisions or reliable asset handover.
This five-day course develops an implementation framework for engineers and project teams. Participants define information requirements, prepare BIM execution plans, govern a common data environment, coordinate federated models and manage issues through accountable workflows. Practical 4D, 5D, site and handover use cases are evaluated against data quality, interoperability and measurable project outcomes.
