Training Outlines
Introduction
Software and SaaS agreements combine technical dependency with recurring commercial commitments and rapidly evolving operational risk. Standard supplier terms often leave important matters—implementation accountability, service availability, data use, security, renewal pricing and exit assistance—insufficiently protected or difficult to enforce.
This course gives procurement, commercial, legal and technology professionals a structured negotiation method for software and cloud contracts. Participants define business requirements, analyze supplier proposals, prioritize negotiation positions and evaluate trade-offs across licence rights, subscription metrics, service levels, data protection, warranties, indemnities and liability. The course concludes with renewal, termination and transition planning so negotiated value remains sustainable throughout the agreement.
