Introduction
Logistics contracts coordinate the physical movement and custody of goods across carriers, warehouses, borders and delivery points. Commercial exposure often arises from unclear handovers, volatile surcharges, capacity constraints, documentation errors, cargo loss and inconsistent service evidence.
This course gives supply-chain, procurement and contract professionals a structured approach to sourcing and managing transportation services. Participants define lanes, volumes, handling requirements and performance standards; evaluate rate structures; allocate cargo and regulatory risks; and establish claims, audit and continuity controls. The content covers practical road, air, sea and multimodal considerations while remaining applicable to both carrier and third-party logistics arrangements.
