Introduction
Contract disputes require more than knowledge of legal remedies. Effective resolution depends on early diagnosis, reliable evidence, commercial judgement and the selection of a process proportionate to the issues, relationships and value at stake. Poor procedural choices can increase cost, delay and enforcement risk even where the underlying case is strong.
This course develops practical dispute-resolution and arbitration capability for contract, commercial and project professionals. Participants assess entitlement and evidence, compare negotiated and adjudicative routes, and examine the architecture of arbitration from agreement and tribunal formation to submissions, hearings, awards and enforcement. Exercises emphasize case strategy, settlement analysis and disciplined collaboration with counsel and experts.
